If you find yourself in the vicinity of Tottenham Court Road this weekend - either to buy tech, or for your daily visit to Spearmint Rhino - then it might be worth dropping in to the Congress Centre and checking out the Second Electronic Sports League Pro Series UK Season Finals. Just slips off the tongue, that one.
At the SESLPSUKSF (my own abbreviation) you'll find teams and individuals competing for £30,000 of prize money in Counter Strike: Source, Call of Duty 4, Trackmania Nations: Forever and Quake 3 Arena. Entry is a mere £2, and the doors open at 10am. If you can't make it, you can see the whole shebang on ESL TV. It's certainly going to be better than watching grunting, sweaty men run chasing a bit of rubber around centre court.
