We humans are a pretty horrible species really, when you start thinking about it. It doesn’t seem to matter how much a game tells us that we’re meant to be bringing peace to a fragmented land or helping a small tribe of settlers achieve their destiny as masters of the universe, when it comes to god games, it’s all about the size and destructive power of the lightning bolts. No, that’s a little unfair. The fireballs are quite good fun to play with too. And then there are the volcano's, of course. Oh, and the odd flood, only we don’t forget to deal with the fish, like a certain deity we could name.

Lazy writers?
Short? There's a whole lotta copy in those six pages of article. Or are you getting confused with the e-zine thingy and simply read the preview text and didn't actually read the article it was taken from?
Colour me confused.

Yauw - what a preview
This rocks - unlike the guy above I DID read the flashy flippy pages. How did you do that and will you do more of those?
I guess you could call me a fan.

Usual content?
Bit confused on your comment as well, Mr Anonymous, Richard Cobbett (the author of this article) is opinionated, witty and honest. He certainly knows his God games as well. Please expand on what it is exactly we should be getting a grip of?

Flashy flippy pages! We loves 'em!
Cheers Manitou, we're definitely looking to use more of this stuff. There's lots of great articles we've run in the magazine that don't translate online in the normal confines of lengthy columns of text.
This allows us to put across articles from our back issues as our excellent design staff originally intended. Expect more of the good stuff :)

Buy us :)
Unfortunately yes it is a li'l more expensive to get the mag outside of the UK. If you want to pick up a single issue you can grab them from our back issues site (inc. the latest issue despite the name...)
At the moment it's a bit of a convoluted way through, but we'll be getting a 'buy it now' button sorted soon. Navigate to:
http://www.myfavouritemagazines.co.uk/
Then hit the 'Computers' tab, scroll down to PCFormat and hit the 'Buy a back issue' button.
Or you can go for a full year's subscription (13 issues - monthly plus an extra Christmas issue) at the subscription tab at the top of this page.
